cups Original Bisquick™ mix

cup Progresso™ chicken broth (from 32-oz carton)

tablespoons butter, melted
4
green onions, thinly sliced on the bias, green and white parts separated

teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)

cups finely chopped cooked chicken

In large bowl, mix Bisquick™ mix, broth, egg, 2 tablespoons of the melted butter, the green onion whites and red pepper. In small bowl, mix remaining 2 tablespoons melted butter and the chicken.

Heat waffle maker; brush with vegetable oil. Pour 1/2 cup of the batter onto center of hot waffle maker. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup of the chicken mixture. Close lid of waffle maker.

Bake 3 to 4 minutes or until steaming stops. Carefully remove waffle. Repeat with remaining batter and chicken. Top waffles with green onion greens, and serve with syrup.
Expert Tips
- Don’t like spicy flavors? Leave out the ground red pepper – these waffles still have plenty of flavor.
