Starbucks will begin offering coconut milk at locations across the country this month.

Beginning February 17, Starbucks will reportedly begin offering coconut milk as a non-dairy, non-soy alternative to milk and cream, according the Starbucks Melody blog.

For the past several months, Starbucks has been testing coconut milk in a few select markets, including Portland and Cleveland, in response to customer requests for non-dairy milk options. In October, the response was positive enough that Starbucks expanded testing to Los Angeles.

Lately, Starbucks has begun hinting at the nationwide launch for coconut milk on its social media platforms, and signs point to February 17 for customer availability.

The coconut milk is certified vegan and made from single-origin coconuts from the Indonesian island of Sumatra.

According to USA Today, a non-dairy and non-soy milk alternative is the second-most-requested customer suggestion that has been submitted online. The new option will cost customers an extra 60 cents per beverage.

Starbucks Melody also reports that the company also recently introduced coconut milk in the Starbucks Reserve Roastery and Tasting Room.
