I managed to make the salad tonight too, although I didn't have all the ingredients. White beans, corn, I had half an avocado, red bell pepper (not baked), green onions and a little red onion and that's it, plus the dressing. But it still looks good and was extremely tasty. Instead of tortilla I ate salad with bake rolls and you know it went perfectly. It's a simple and great recipe.

Roast turkey on a tray


- a whole thawed turkey (about 5 kg)
- 2 cups of fresh orange juice (out of 6 larger oranges)
- a cup of water
- 3/4 cup whiskey or bourbon
- 1/3 cup molasses or maple syrup
- 3/4 tablespoon of salt
- 4 peeled oranges
- 3 tablespoons white flour
- orange slices (optional)
- parsley branches (optional)

1. Discard the neck and entrails (if they have not already been removed). Rinse the turkey well with cold water and remove excess water with a paper towel. Mix orange juice, water, half a cup of bourbon and maple molasses / syrup in a large, sealable bag. Add the turkey, seal and leave to marinate (in the fridge) for 4 to 24 hours, turning the bag from time to time. Take the turkey out of the bag and put the marinade in a bowl.

3. Tie the ends of the turkey's legs with a string. Sprinkle half a teaspoon of salt inside the turkey, then add the whole oranges. Place the turkey on a lightly greased baking tray.
